Social Security Administration Announces 1.7 Percent Increase in 2015 · Monthly Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits for nearly 64 million Americans will increase 1.7 percent in 2015, the Social Security Administration announced today.
The 1.7 percent cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) will begin with benefits that more than 58 million Social Security beneficiaries receive in January 2015. Increased payments to more than 8 million SSI beneficiaries will begin on December 31, 2014.

Smoke Free Action Guide Issued on October 17th 2014 · On Friday, October 17th, Benjamin T. Metcalf, the HUD Deputy Assistant Secretary for Multifamily Housing Programs, issued a memorandum regarding “Smoke Free Action Guide for Multifamily Housing”. HUD/REAC Update: “Cheat Sheet” for the 4.0 Physical Inspection Report · With the rollout of the new Uniform Physical Condition Standards (UPCS) inspection software (version 4.0), the Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC) now has the capability to collect more detailed information about observations made during the inspection of properties. Therefore, the report has been modified to provide this detailed information.

RHIIP Notice #319 Updated October 14th · The forms, which relate to the Section 8 Contract Renewal process, have been updated and the new forms have been posted to HUDCLIPS. The updates include either a new OMB expiration date of 04/30/2017 or the removal of the OMB expiration date. Additionally, due to new software constraints, some forms that were previously fillable no longer have this functionality.
