Cancellation of the AAHA 2020 Conference – May 19-22, 2020

Due to the unprecedented COVID 19 (coronavirus) pandemic, we are experiencing on a global level, means that we are in unknown territory on many fronts. After consideration, The AAHA Board has decided to cancel the May 19-22, 2020 Annual Conference at the Hilton Sandestin. We are working the with Hilton Sandestin to come up with alternative dates.

Please note the following regarding cancellation of individual reservations:

  • If the reservations were made individually ( Call-in / On-line/ Hilton Link / Honors App ), the individuals will need to cancel their own reservation by either calling the hotel, cancel on-line, or via the Hilton Honors app. This will also allow the guest to keep their reservation at the group rate, should they choose to keep their reservation.
  • If your group is an individual pay group, with a portion of reservations provided via a rooming list ( i.e., Master Billed rooms, speakers, etc.….. ), the hotel will require an e-mail to your Group Reservations Coordinator, Amber Ham, with your direction to cancel these reservations. If any of the individuals wish to keep their reservation, a method of payment will be required for these reservations , if we do not already have a credit card on file. Again, their existing group rate will be honored.

AAHA will be sending you another email reference your refund for the meeting. Also, at that time we will be addressing the situation concerning the AAHA Scholarship Raffle Tickets.

Annual Meeting

One of the primary benefits of membership in AAHA is that it provides anyone who is affiliated with the housing industry the opportunity to interact and learn from others in the industry. We are committed to keeping our members up-to-date and informed on issues that impact the housing industry.

One of the most exciting aspects of AAHA membership is our annual AAHA Meeting. At this meeting we offer seminars for development, finance, management, and maintenance personnel. AAHA members are given the opportunity to meet each other and to meet and learn from the nation’s leading housing professionals! Vendors from various aspects of the housing industry are on hand in the Exhibition Area to show their products & services to members. We also give awards, elect our Board of Directors and award college scholarships to deserving students. Our sponsors give away exciting prizes and provide top-notch entertainment and dining experiences.

AAHA’s Annual Golf Tournament benefits the AAHA Scholarship Fund. It is an optional event and includes a sponsored luncheon and lots of great prizes.
